ClamWin will be started with the main window open, as above. Or perhaps there were no changes to the databases when you did the manual updates. The update time probably comes from Clam AV when a scheduled update happens and when/if one of the databases actually is changed. Check your ClamWin update reports to see if that can tell you what is going on.
